Fabian Ristau

Fabian Ristau is a musician, composer and psychological counsellor. His musical cosmos is fuelled by the infinite connections between jazz and electronic music. Together with jazz singer Natalia Mateo, he won the Jazz-ECHO as best newcomer in 2016. He has been working as a freelance musician and composer for 15 years. In addition to his own musical project (Mono Green), he works as a musical director at various theatres in Germany and Switzerland. Since 2022 he has also been working as a psychological counsellor and systemic coach. He is a member of the board of IG JAZZ Berlin and accompanies political processes to strengthen the independent scene in Berlin. He is married and lives in Prenzlauer Berg with his wife and two twin girls.
