Edyta Rogowska-Żak
Edyta Rogowska-Żak is a Berlin-based Polish artist, educator, and cultural manager. She holds a Master’s degree in Sociology and has a musical background in piano and music theory.
With her project Duxius, she merges theatre and music to create immersive performances. Her debut album Remanence (2022) blends Polish, English, and German lyrics inspired by retro sounds. As a visionary artist, she redefines power from a non-masculine perspective and calls her genre Polish Future Retro – centered on emotional and social awareness. Edyta was recognized by Music Export Poland for her innovative artistic concept. Following Duxius’ performance at the Waves Vienna Festival 2024, she is currently preparing a new EP.
She also leads the workshop “Free Voice – Free Mind,” a transformative experience focusing on voice, body, and mental well-being, drawing on methods by Kristin Linklater and Roy Hart.
As manager and producer of the ROXSA Festival in Bad Sülze, she revitalizes the town through music, art, and community engagement, passionately promoting democracy, communication, and creativity.
