Claudia Hoppe
Claudia was born and raised in Berlin. Ever since she can remember, her greatest love has been music (her first career ambition at the age of 5 was to become a singer!) At the age of 12, she successfully appeared on stage for the first time with a Loriot sketch. After graduating (Abitur = A-Levels), she studied philosophy and sociology in Berlin. In 2009, she discovered improvisational theatre for herself, to which she fully committed herself professionally in 2016 after an excursion into the IT industry with a Finnish telecommunications giant.
In addition to performing with various ensembles (currently with TheaterSport Berlin), she has been teaching the art of improv theatre and applied improvisation in courses for companies, private individuals, academies, and other organizations for many years.
She also shares and discusses her experiences in her interview podcast on improvisational theatre: claudiahoppe.com/category/podcast/
Since 2019, she has also been pursuing her great love of music and has started playing the drums. She has already played her first successful gigs (including at Wild at Heart in Berlin) with her band, in which she’s not only drumming but also singing.
