Barbara Berndorff

Barbara Berndorff is an experienced lawyer in Berlin, specialising in copyright and publishing law, music law, design law, film law and media law. She is a partner in the law firm Berndorff Rechtsanwälte and is authorised to represent clients before all German local, regional and higher regional courts.

From 1997 to 2014, she was a lecturer for ‘Law in Design’ at the Berlin University of Applied Sciences (HTW). She has also lectured at various institutions, including Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design and the Academy of Fine Arts Nuremberg.

Barbara Berndorff is co-author of specialist books on design and music law and publishes regularly in the magazine Keys. In addition to her legal work, she is also active as a bassist, among others with the Cuban Rebel Girls and Tav Falco’s Panther Burns.
